Diane Townsend, a practicing pastel artist in New York City, presents her line of soft pastels, giving artists an opportunity to employ a variety of techniques. Soft Form offers a specialty range of dark hues and off blacks as well as classic and exotic colors. Many of the Soft Form grays and mauves are mixed in such a way that they give off a silvery light instead of being dull and flat. Soft Form pastels are formed by hand into pleasing one-of-a-kind sticks. Townsend Artists' Soft Form Pastels contain no chalks or fillers. Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.
